Tankship International LLC, was established in 1994 as an international brokerage firm. We have three offices, one strategically located outside of New York City in Westport, CT, one in Downtown Houston, TX, and our newly opened Tankship Florida office.

Tankship specializes in the chartering of tankers for crude oil, clean and dirty petroleum products, LPG, dry cargo, chemicals and support vessels. Our focus is on spot chartering activities however Tankship is also engaged in time-charters, Contracts-of-Affreightment (COA), Sales & Purchases and Projects.

Often acting as consultants, Tankship International’s staff of experienced brokers offer their guidance in all forms of shipping ventures, investment opportunities and market trends.

Since its inception, Tankship has focused on U.S. and foreign oil companies, traders and ship owners trading globally, concentrating in the Atlantic basin including Europe, West Africa and the Mediterranean as well as on all coasts of North, Central and South America.
